Sainte-Chapele was built as a built as a reliquary to house the Crown of Thorns. A peace of the stone thorns can be seen here, crumbled off this 13th century building. The true beauty of this building though is the stained glass windows.
On the north side of the city is the Pompidou. A colorful museam with all the infrastructure on the outside.

Although Chambord is quite grand; if you are planing on going to the area we would recommend you schedule some time to spend in the town of Blois. The chateau there is better kept on the inside.
